Welcome to Wildness Expeditions.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, participation in our community, and any booking requests, reservations, or expeditions arranged through Wildness Expeditions. By using our website or booking an expedition with us, you agree to these terms.

1. About Wildness Expeditions

Wildness Expeditions creates and hosts adventure, wildlife, dive, trekking, and expedition travel experiences around the world.

Many expeditions are delivered in partnership with third-party operators, guides, accommodation providers, vessels, transport providers, and other suppliers. Wildness Expeditions carefully selects these partners but does not own or operate all services provided as part of an expedition.

2. Booking Requests & Reservations

Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a place on an expedition.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Wildness Expeditions and/or the relevant supplier.

Once your booking has been confirmed and any required deposit has been received, your place will be secured subject to the terms of that expedition.

3. Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required to secure your place on an expedition.

Payment schedules and final payment dates will be communicated during the booking process and may vary between expeditions.

Failure to make payments by the required deadlines may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any applicable deposits.

We accept both US Dollars and Australian Dollars. Payments can be made via credit card, direct bank transfer, Revolut and Wise.

4. Pricing

Pricing is listed in US Dollars for international expeditions and Australian Dollars in local Australian expeditions. You can convert the amount into your local currency here.

We do our best to keep pricing accurate and up to date. However, due to supplier costs, fuel surcharges, government fees, or other unforeseen circumstances, prices may occasionally change.

Any price changes will not affect confirmed bookings that have been secured with a deposit. However, in exceptional circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as significant increases imposed by suppliers, government charges or taxes, or major currency fluctuations), we reserve the right to adjust the price. If this occurs, you will be notified in writing as soon as reasonably practicable.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the expedition, destination, operator, vessel, accommodation provider, and other suppliers involved.

Specific cancellation terms will be provided at the time of booking.

Any refunds will be subject to the applicable supplier terms and any non-refundable costs already incurred. Wildness Expeditions reserves the right to deduct any administration, processing, or supplier fees where applicable.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for certain expeditions.

Your insurance policy should provide adequate coverage for:

Trip cancellation and interruption
Medical expenses
Emergency evacuation
Personal belongings
Adventure activities relevant to your expedition

It is your responsibility to ensure your insurance policy meets your individual needs.

7. Health, Fitness & Experience Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet any health, fitness, certification, or experience requirements outlined for an expedition.

Certain expeditions may require specific qualifications, such as diving certifications, trekking experience, or medical clearance.

Wildness Expeditions reserves the right to decline participation where safety requirements are not met.

8. Itinerary Changes

Expedition travel often takes place in remote and unpredictable environments where flexibility is required.

Itineraries may be altered due to weather conditions, wildlife activity, operational requirements, safety considerations, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control.

While we will always endeavour to deliver the advertised experience, no specific wildlife sightings, activities, routes, or conditions can be guaranteed.

9. Responsibility & Liability

Participation in adventure travel activities involves inherent risks.

By joining an expedition, participants acknowledge and accept these risks.

Wildness Expeditions acts as an organiser and facilitator of experiences delivered wholly or partially by third-party suppliers. While we carefully select our partners, we cannot accept responsibility for the acts, omissions, services, delays, cancellations, or failures of third-party providers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wildness Expeditions shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, expense, delay, inconvenience, or disappointment arising from participation in an expedition or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Community Standards

Wildness Expeditions exists to create a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive community.

Participants are expected to treat fellow travellers, guides, local communities, wildlife, and natural environments with respect.

We reserve the right to remove individuals from community spaces, events, or expeditions where behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, disruptive, or detrimental to the experience of others.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, branding, logos, and other materials, remains the property of Wildness Expeditions unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

12. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us.

Information collected through our website, booking forms, newsletters, or community sign-ups is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

Wildness Expeditions reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Any updates will be published on this page and become effective immediately upon publication.

15. Competition Terms & Conditions

The Wildness Explorer Challenge

The promoter is Wildness Expeditions.
The competition is open worldwide to individuals aged 18 years or over.
Entries open on 29 June 2026 and close at 11:59 PM AWST on 12 July 2026.
To enter, participants must correctly identify the hidden animal on each page listed on the competition page and submit the completed entry form before the closing date.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
The winner will receive USD $200 Wildness Expedition Credit towards any Wildness Expedition (except the Annapurna Base Camp Trek since bookings are managed by our partner).
The prize is also transferable as a gift, however it cannot be exchanged for cash, and must be redeemed towards a future Wildness Expeditions booking within 12 months of the winner being notified.
Flights, travel insurance, visas, personal expenses and any costs not specifically stated are not included.
The winner will be contacted by email. If no response is received within 7 days, Wildness Expeditions reserves the right to draw a new winner.
Wildness Expeditions reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition if required due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

When you enter The Wildness Website Challenge, we collect the information you provide (such as your name, email address and competition entry) to administer the competition, contact the winner and improve our services.

If you choose to opt in, we'll also send you occasional updates about Wildness Expeditions, future adventures, community events and special offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.

We do not sell your personal information. Your information may be shared with trusted service providers who help us operate our website and email communications.
